Hi,

I live in Torrey Ridge Apartments. In order for my 6 year old son to have beginner swimming lessons this summer, I am looking for a swimming trainer.
Please reply if you have any recommendations close by.

Thanks.

Hi,

Do you want the instructor to come to your pool or are you flexible in travelling? I know there are kids lessons in UCSD during the weekend.
Yelp will be other area to check for help. Also I know YMCA, JCC and local fitness areas offer swim lessons for kids. If you want one on one you have to call the providers.

Yelp search: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Baby+Swim+Lessons&find_loc=San+Diego%2C+CA

I hope this helps!

Thanks a lot for the information, Anira. I will explore the options.
I would prefer if the instructor can come to our pool but I assume there will be some minimum requirement for the number of students, for this option to be affordable. I am checking in our community too, if I can find somebody interested.

Thanks again.

I recommend Toby Wells YMCA. They offer swim lessons based on the kids age. My kid took lessons from there.

Thanks for the info. I will check at YMCA as they offer multiple classes during summer.
